If you are looking for a unique wedding venue that has country charm yet isn’t out in the middle of nowhere then ‘Hitched at the Boomerang Farm’ could be just what you’re after! Located just 25 minutes from Surfers Paradise on The Gold Coast it is nestled in the outskirts of Mudgeeraba. The Boomerang Farm is a 200 acre farm, golf course and wedding destination with manicured grounds, historic buildings, mobs of lazy wallabies and an ambience all of it’s own. A dreamlike and romantic wedding location that can be styled to suit any taste or budget.
It is a one stop shop which is great for cutting out travel time and expenses getting from 3 different locations during your wedding day. It has a beautiful rainforest garden for your intimate ceremony surrounded by luscious trees. Open Fields, golf course and an Old Wool Shed to use for your Portrait session. And then the reception, held in the rustic barn with it’s exposed beam ceiling and farm house charm which can be transformed into any theme you like. There’s enough room for dancing, lolly tables, guests and more.
We love shooting at ‘Hitched at the Boomerang Farm’ for it’s diversity, natural surroundings, gorgeous sunlight and the staff are fantastic to work with. They will make sure your day runs smoothly and with a smile.
We shot Tiffany and Dywayne’s New Years Eve wedding at the Boomerang Farm and below are some of our favourite shots showcasing what a great choice of venue it is. There is no limit on what you can do with the space. Tiffany and her talented Mum made so many fun and unique details to add to the country theme they had. While the Bridal Party had their photos taken the guests were free to roam the grounds, play croquet, have cocktails on hay bales and relax.
