Shene Estate Wedding Photographers

A few weeks ago we travelled to our first wedding across the Tasman to photograph Kim & Dave’s super fun wedding at the Shene Estate just north of Hobart, Tasmania. We instantly fell in love with Tassie and if you haven’t been there, you should. We can’t wait to go back.

“The day was based around all the things we love; good food, good wine and beer, good music and good people. We sprinkled extra fun around with a gin cocktail hour serving the venue’s own Poltergeist gin and springing a surprise polo demonstration on our guests as entertainment. We fell in love with the venue itself when we were scouting around tassie for the perfect place to host our special day. We couldn’t go past Shene estate, we instantly fell in love with the history and beauty of the buildings and surroundings as well as the gorgeous family who run it and are incredibly passionate about the preservation of the site. Our day ran to the beat of our drum and was as casual and relaxed as we are- food and drinks were served cocktail style and showcased local and seasonal tassie produce, with a late night snack thrown towards the end of the night for good measure. The band played funk and soul well into the night with plenty of rowdy dance action from our guests throughout the night. Our magical night was topped only with a big beautiful full moon on display, over what was the best night of our lives.”
